Continuing Education Information
A total of 8 hours of Continuing Education Units are
required every two years and must be submitted with your License Renewal. The 8
CEU's must be obtained within two years of the renewal date.
The Licensee is
responsible for making sure that each course they attend is approved by the OSE
and acquiring a Course Certificate from each course sponsor. This Certificate
issued by the course sponsor and the
Documentation of Continuing Ed Hours Form (filled out by you)
must accompany your renewal (click on the above link to access the Documentation
Form).
4 hours shall be drilling related,
2 hours must be
specific to regulatory requirements regarding well drilling in New Mexico and
the remaining 2 hours can consist of these 5 other categories (NM Water
Law, General Business Practice & Safety, Ground Water Geology, GPS
Operation/Legal Description/NMCS, Other).
Renewals for 2008 and beyond will be required to obtain
all 8 hours and submit the required CEU's with the renewal.
