The New Mexico
Ground Water Association represents Well Drilling Contractors, Pump
Installation Contractors, Manufacturers, Suppliers and Consultants
involved in the Ground Water Industry in New Mexico.
The NMGWA is a
501(C) - (6) Non- Profit organization that works to assist, promote,
encourage and support the interest and welfare of the water well
industry.
History
of the NMGWA
The original association,
the New Mexico Water Well Contractors Association, was first organized
in 1952. It was incorporated in 1955. In 1978 the name was
changed to the New Mexico Water Well Association to be more inclusive of
the manufactures and suppliers so important to the industry.
In 1994 the membership
voted to change their name to the New Mexico Ground Water Association
